He keeps wickets for Pakistan but his performance as a wicket keeper is always in criticism. Especially in the test match against Australia where he dropped several catches and missed run out that eventually helped Australia to win the test match. His is not tallest a player but his height did not affect his performance in batting or wicket keeping. His hand to eye combination is excellent and he uses it in his batting very well while he is batting. Although his reflexes or keeping technique has some faults but it can be corrected if he focus on them.
