Kamran Akmal is an opening batsman and wicket keeper who play for Pakistan. He is an aggressive opening batsman and played several good innings for Pakistan. He is under pressure due to his poor wicket keeping for several years especially during the tour of Australia. In Australian tour he dropped many catches and missed run outs. His poor wicket keeping is one of the factors that affect the performance of Pakistani cricket team.
In Sydney test match because of his dropped catches and missed run outs Pakistan lost the test match as well. His bad performance fuels the sentiments that he is involved in the match fixing. The charge he as well as Pakistan cricket board strictly denied. When he seem to be involved in the match fixing charges against England some critics also raise their voices and point out fingers towards the fixing of Sydney test match but Australian cricket board also denied these claims.
