
Kamran Akmal is a right handed attacking opening batsman and wicket keeper of Pakistan. He played several match winning innings for Pakistan. Although he is under criticism for poor wicket keeping but at the same time his batting ability is good in comparison to other Pakistani wicket keepers and up to the standard. His most famous innings as a batsman was against India in 2nd test match at Kolkata and because of his innings Pakistan was able to save the test match.
In this innings he and Razzaq stood on the wicket and made excellent partnership that in the end save the test match for Pakistan.
In Dubai against Australia he scored 116* runs on 115 balls with the help of 13 boundaries. Australia while batting first scored 250 runs and because of Kamran Akmal’s innings Pakistan was able to chase that huge total with the loss of only 3 wickets in only 47 over’s.
In a practice match in Australian tour Kamran scored 100 runs on 74 balls and played shots all round of the ground.
In Indian Premier League playing of Rajistan Royals he hit 3 consecutive sixes to Indian Fast bowler Sree Shant.
